We Took a Walk with Sunny at the Prak and Recreation Yesterday

We took a walk with Sunny at dusk yesterday along the endless strip of green land with an asphalt-paved road in the center.
Several days ago, I did not go out for a walk with Christina and Bell and Amanda, let alone with Sunny.
Sunny has been living in a different apartment just about two blocks away. She is full of energy and often invites us to go out for a walk or shopping together.

But I did not go with her and the mates living with me in the same apartment.
But when Christina and the others came back home, I asked them where they had been. Bell said with a chain of laughter, "We have made a discovery. We have been to a very beautiful park, much more beautiful than the green land. And there is no traffic there. In China we cannot find a place closed to traffic."
     My curiosity was aroused.
The night before last night I asked Christina and Amanda and Bell to go to the park. Bell was busy and did not agree togo, but the other two agreed to take me for a walk there.
The park was not as beautiful as I had imagined, to be honest. It is just a long but narrow strip of green grass land with trees scattered here and there and the views were not too bad. On both sides I could see wire webs separating the park from the rest of the world <the traffic road on the left and the houses on the right>, and we walked further than the supermarket they had reached the other day and then we saw deserted railway tracks, on which I tried to balance myself for fun and for exercise. Then we came back.

Yesterday, our hiking in the park was much more funny because of Sunny's presence.
The first reason is that along the way Sunny told us her wonderful adventurous experience and good luck with Suzan Zhou in their trip to East Rock Park, where she saw the whole city of New Haven through a telescope with the offer of a quarterly coin from a woman stranger and unexpected kind offer of a lift back to New Haven on their way back.
The second reason is that we went further than we had been to before and found the park seemed endless, and Sunny wanted to explore further and see where the road would lead us, in spite of the approaching darkness, with the trees around us looking rather sinister. Both she and I wanted to find out where the end of park is. But our curiosity had to be checked by sensible colleagues.
All along the way we saw the emergency call gadgets, and saw two male bicycle riders and three black males, and no more.
We promised to start out earlier the next day so as to find out about the park's end.
I am looking forward to the hiking today.
The third reason is that she provided us with some information we hadn't known before about the previous president of our Foreign language school, which both shocked and puzzled us.

<Sorry no pictures again. I write it in the Bass library.>
